• Town Offices will be closed Thursday, November 27th and Friday, November 28th for the observance of the Thanksgiving holidays.  The residential garbage and recycling route and the hand commercial route scheduled for collection on Thursday, November 27th will be delayed until Friday, November 28th

Residential customers, please put your garbage at curbside on Thursday night.

• Celebrity Dairy Fall Open Barn, Sunday, November 30, 1pm-5pm.  Goat dairy at the close of the season, the inn is decorated for the holidays.  Play with the animals.  Refreshments.  2106 Mt. Vernon Hickory Mtn. Rd., Siler City.

• Pittsboro Holiday Open House, Historic Downtown Pittsboro, US 15-501 and US 64.  November 28-30, Friday & Saturday 10:30 a.m. – 5 p.m., Sun. 1 p.m. – 5 p.m. Celebrate the holidays with music, visits with Santa, refreshments and more. Free.

• Motorcycle Association for Chatham, Western Wake, Lee, Orange, and Alamance Counties meets in Pittsboro and is open to all riders for information call 919-392-3939 or visit www.ChathamCBA.com.

• Narcotics Anonymous meetings will be held at Alston Chapel Church every Monday at 6:30 p.m. for the entire month of December.

• American Red Cross Fundraiser will be held November 29 at Asheboro High School Auditorium.  The Isaacs and Tim Moon & True Grass will be performing.  Performances begin at 6 p.m.  Adults $12 at door, $7 at door.

•. The Chatham Central Regional Bands are having their annual fruit sale.  The band is selling citrus fruits, as well as apples and gift boxes, and all are available for sale from any Chatham Central, Bonlee, Bennett or J.S. Waters band student.  Proceeds from the sale will go to fund equipment and educational travel for the bands.

• “An Arts Celebration”, December 2, 7 p.m. Polly Yow Memorial Auditorium  hosted by the Chatham Central PTSA, Choral Department, School Band, Cabinetmaking Dept., Art Department, Agriculture Dept. and reception by Culinary Arts Dept.
