• Annual Folk Art Show in the Barn at Fearrington,  on February 19 & 20, featuring over 30 Southern folk artists and three live, and local music bands. • The Chatham County Affordable Housing Coalition will be holding a free Home Buyers Education  Seminar on Saturday, February 26, from 9 am to 4 pm at Pittsboro United Methodist Church. • Goldston Youth Recreation will hold baseball/softball sign-ups on Saturday, February 19 and February 26 from 10 am until 1 pm at the J.S. Waters Gym.
• A free Elder Law Seminar will be given by attorney Richard Hall, Jr., Thursday, February 24 at 6:30 pm at the West End United Methodist Church located at 1104 N Chatham Avenue, Siler City.
• Chatham County’s Community Read Program, 2004-2005, discussion #2 on The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini, will be held Monday, February 28 at 7:30 pm at Pittsboro Memorial Library, two blocks west on Highway 64 after Courthouse Circle in Pittsboro. • Open Bluegrass Pickin, Saturday, February 19 at Reno Sharpe’s Store, from 10 am until.. Pickers are asked to bring acoustic instruments only. Free and open to the public. on the corner of Goldston-Pittsboro Road and Reno Sharpe Store Road between Pittsboro and Goldston.
